Nike Pegasus 2002 Model...
I couldn't believe my eye when i saw der price tag shown from RM350 go down to RM215 den sumore go down again to RM149!! Thats der final price n der cheaper shoe for Nike Pegasus ever. Sumore is oredi down der last pair, too bad it doesn't meet my size. But i dont really care about it. Bought it on der spot, then let pm21 to try it on, luckily it is meet her size but a bit losen. But still, i want her to take it. hehehehe....

Why i like Pegasusu so much?
Bcoz it a ever lasting shoe, it can last until 1500km oso no problem. Der tayar oso very thick as my face. Announcement

Dear All,

Kindly take note that our dear friend, PM14 Aka Ah Toh, was involved in an accident yesterday morning i.e 27th October. He was trying to avoid someone who was crossing the road BLINDLY and ended up hurting himself! The fall from his motorbike caused him to hurt his head, face, arms and legs. I was told that he had some stitches on his head.

He's resting at home for the moment and I'm not sure how long it would be before Ah Toh is able to start running again. But I'm hoping for a full recovery as soon as possible as it would be nice to have him with us again!

Anyone who wish to send regards to him can via his mobile number : 016-377 9818

A Wonderful Trip to Gunung Angsi

Change Plan
Actually we supposed to go hikng on sunday, Ronnie training with his Coach Chan on saturday. But everything changed, when his Coach say he is not free on saturday. And he wanted Ronnie & Jason come for the sunday long run. My whole plan has been swap. Mean most of the ppl cant make it on saturday due to work. So only Ronnie, Rachel, Ivory (Rachel fren), Jason, Draco & Steven (Draco fren) make the trip.

Easy as ABC?
Most of the ppl say, Gunung Angsi is good for those beginner. Yameh? But for Ronnie is oredi tough like dog and cow. Ronnie got lot of bruises and twist ankle many time. It is so extreme dangerous!!

No Leech pls...
This is my first time go for climbing. The most worry in my mind is the leech, didn't worry so much for the climbing. Because as per Steven experience is only take 2 hrs to reach summit.

Up to the Angsi
There is a drizzle rain all the way to seremban, but luckily when we reach there, the rain has stop. We enjoy ourself all the way up, throught simple jungle trekking, across river, the difficult part is the narrow cave, we need to use our arm to hold the rope and the final part is the most tired coz all the way up, up, and up......to the top, our leg like no more feeling at that time.

Reach Summit
Finally we reach up there with 99% of our energy, really enjoy the view there, happy that we can reach there by safely without leech sticking on me, although all the way we saw it.

Down from the Angsi
We though going down is easy, but we are wrong, all the way down we need to use our toes to balance our body, that make our leg more tired and painful.

Conclusion
Luckily there is no leech close to me. We walk relax pace all the way, although it take us 6 hrs to complete the task, i think it is standard for the beginner. This is an excellent experience for us, we look forward for the next climbing trip. Thank you to Steven who guide us all the way.

Duration @ Angsi Climb
3 hrs 00m - Up to Summit
0 hrs 45m - Resting
2 hrs 45m - Down Hill

Total Hour Taken - 6 hrs 15mins

Our next climb is Gunung Bunga Buah (Genting Pahang)

der_pacemakers Idol Story Part III

pm19 - justin lee (nia nia)
Der most hardcore runner. Rain, shine, tsunami, Hurricane Rita or Wilma, earthquake or Adam chasing his bontot, nothing can stop him from running. He is der only pacemaker who managed to hit 120km mileage per week. Now that he is married, he will be logging another kind of mileage - but never write him off!

pm17 - ryan teoh (mei mei teoh)
Mei mei is der pacemaker record holder for registering der most entries for a run during der nilai 1/2 marathon with a record of 50 entries. Becoz of that he nearly kena mental breakdown. If that happened he would've checked into tanjung rambutan for a 3 day 2 night stay liao! A faster runner in recent months, he no longer sapu lantai, so watch out for him ya!

pm8 - lilian chen (fong fong)
Der face is round, thick & solid. Yes, he's der medal-face-man. East north south west (tong nam sai pak) - as long there are medals provided, he'll be there. Oh yes, 1 more thing, he is always late for anything, everything or watever lah. Never come on time wan. Not only that, after race, immediately cabot - buntut oso can't be seen. KNN leh! But offer him nasi lemak and fried chicken and maybe he'll stay!

der_pacemakers Story Part II

PM1 - Ronnie See (Ling Ling)
The President and one of the founding members of The Pacemakers. Three words to describe this guy. Humble, friendly and helpful. Ling Ling never boast about his performances and likes to make new friends, especially those who share the same passion for running. He always puts others' interest above his own. He will always help his mates to sign up for the road races, get the tee and bibs for them and getting nothing in return.

PM21 - Rachel Lee (Mooi Mooi)
The 'First Lady' of The Pacemakers. Mooi Mooi not only supports her husband's deep passion for running, she joins him in road races too!!! Before knowing Ling Ling, she's not a runner. She only started running after knowing Ling Ling. Eversince then, she has improved by leaps and bounds. To date, she already has a considerable amount of medals in her collection. Mooi Mooi and her husband is one of the many lovely couples envied by others. Oh yeahhh!! She's the first and only Pacemaker to have emerged champion in a road race.

Target Achives!
Believe it or not, we already achiving 39 participant less than 1 month. That mean i can close shop already. Special thanks to the Eddy Choo, KLAVA Running Club for thier kind support, they're sending 7 runners for our New Year Run. Eddy also advice some suggession, to make a finishing placing for all the trohpy label. And also, divide into two categories. Men Category & Veteran Category. Well Eddy,
will do my best ya!

Payment to DBKL!
Eventho i already got the approval letter from DBKL, but the payment is at different location. Why cant they make it all in one place? Have to go to Lake Garden to make payment over there, so troublesome. Lucky their office open on saturday, so i went there and make the payment. (Settle!!)

Starting Time!
FYI, our starting time will be move forward to 6:30am instead of 7:00am, due to the crowd proposes & the uncertain weather. Sorry for the inconvenient cause.

Public Toilet!
I have make a request to DBKL officer, asking them to open the public toilet at 6am, and they agree with our requirement. Toilet to starting line is just 50m away.

Car Park!
Please park your car at Lake Garden Children Playground, there are plenty of parking space provided you come early. I think should be no major problem, cause normal crowded hour is after 7am. Car Park to starting line is just 20m away. Everythings is so convenient for you right?

Bib Number!
Yes! There will be a bib number for everyone, easy for our check point purposes. Please check for your age category, if there is any mistake, please inform me early before the trophy label is printed out. Thanks for your co-operation.

    Singapore Marathon - Who's going?

In about 1.5 months' time, many runners will be making the pilgrimage down to Singapore for the Stanchart Singapore Marathon. This year will see a new main sponsor - a switch from New Balance to adidas. The event is expected to not only maintain its high standards as the premier marathon in SEA but to see some improvements as well. The expo for one will see an improvement as told by a race official.

The Malaysian runners going down will form a large contingent from various clubs but the largest will be from the Pacesetters. Many will be travelling with the club or on their own. So that those going down will know who will be making the trip, illegal or otherwise, please let Der PM Boss know by clicking on the Comments link below. We'll compile the list and publish under the Race Registration section.

Saturday Long Run @ Lake Garden Track

Saturday i'm supposed to be having my sweet dream at bed until 10am. But not for today, my assistant coach ask me to do long run instead of sunday. Due to somebody wedding, she affraid i live to rock until morning & wont be able to wake up on time. So i got no choice & hv to listen to coach as well.

Well, dis is oso a gut opportunity for me to try out d New Year Run route as well. I plan to run 9 laps. But in d end, i ran out of steam due to d heaty weather. So i did 8 laps only. I started my run only at 7:45am, ended at 9am plus. So u can imagine how hot was it lah. Water! Water!

For those who want to do well in New Year Run, better train hard. Try der track 1st, b4 going for der real wan. Is not easy as ABC due to d uneven surface. Sumore i run without any water supply. "Susah sekarang, Senang kemudian" hahaha!!

After finish my run, take bath. Went to Menara DBKL, to get approval for our New Yrs Run. I tot only got 1 DBKL in klang valley, which located at Jln Raja Laut. But i was wrong, lucky Jason inform me dat i nid to go to Kpg Baru to get approval. So i was there, but der person in charge is not around, ask me to come on monday. Tiu!!!

My split time for 2.3km per lap:
    Lap 1 = 13'50.10s
    Lap 2 = 13'11.89s > 0h 27m 01s
    Lap 3 = 12'40.31s > 0h 39m 42s
    Lap 4 = 12'37.23s > 0h 52m 19s
    Lap 5 = 12'17.21s > 1h 04m 36s
    Lap 6 = 11'58.08s > 1h 16m 34s
    Lap 7 = 11'42.11s > 1h 28m 16s
    Lap 8 = 11'14.94s > 1h 39m 31s

    Total Distance 18.4km

Champagne for New Year Run Winners

Some suggestion by Ajeep der kool fella:
"pm1, i suggest the winners in new year run, kasi goncang 100plus n then spray, like F1"

We apologize. due to the recent Budget 2006 plan, we can't supply champagne because alcoholic drinks already increased by 9% in tax. So, 100Plus boleh lah....
