Larian Merdeka National Fitness Council - Race Report!

When : Sunday, 27th August 2006
Where : Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur
Distance : 4.5km

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!
This is one of der most happening Merdeka Run I ever take part, eventho morning rain like folk n spoon. But it didnt stop almost 5000 all der Ali Baba runners from taking part this wonderful event. Wat more, is FREE entry. FREE t-shirt, cap, mini goodies, Milo-100 Plus drink until u pensan & der beautiful cert too. And u know wat hor, b4 start to flag off. We are required to sing national song "Negaraku" ahem.. sing in der rain wan leh (touching boh).

Speed Training
Last few day always kiling kolong kiling kolong rain wan, so hor I take this race as part of my speed workout loh. Yday oso did some training too in der morning, easy run 4 loops at lake garden start 9am. Anyway back to my Merdeka topic, after der flagging off. All der Ali Baba runners pia like no tomoro wan, eventho no offer any prize or medals. After 800m of pia saw Chen Fong Fong oso very der pia wan, so I follow his buntot tight tight. After 3.125km like that hor, saw a few runners taking a short cut. Suddenly come out from UFO longkang, cinya DEW! Like this oso wan to cheat wan, one of der runner help me to shout at der blardy longkang ppl "TIPU". I got no breathe to shout.

More DEW!
To my horror, while almost to finishing. Some of der longkang ppl juz stand around 100m to finishing line n run thru finishing. Waulaheh like oso can wan, well wat to do. This is not a racing event, so let it be loh. DEW!!

Ok, my man, just tell about myself, i being running since age 10 but that time young age so only 100m and relay team 4*100 but im strong runner in school manage to rep school in year 1989 for district.In year 1990 went was in primary school i was start runnng long distant in event cross country ( 5k- 7k ) and start love to sport until now. Some of my acivement in school time was always win from 1990 until 1994 in cross crounty, my biggest acivement is in track event was rep state S'gor in stepchase in both ( 2000m )1993 and ( 3000m )1994, as in 1993 i went futher until MSSM in 2000m s/c, where i finish 4rd. So, since 1990 im running road race until 2001, where i got married in that year than pencen for 4years ( because baru kahwin and baru start kerja sendiri ) only to start back in year 2005 until now.

I being working in bank in year 1999 with MBF and that year i finish inter finance race in 3rd place and 2000 i won the race in 1st place, My strong running year was in 1997 until 2001.i just inform u some of my personal best b4 the year 2001 oth in track and road event, as for your view, pls do coment to me,thank you.

400m: 56m at training, 1993
800m: 2m:8s at klang district race,1994
1500m: 4m37s at training, 1994
2000m: 6m53s at inter state MSSM, 1993
3000m: 9m53 at Inter district MSSS'gor, 1994
5.5 k : 18m:47s at training, 1997
10k : 36m07s at klang, 1997
21k : 1h16m at Seremban half in year 1999 (place 9)

My everage time in 10k event is 37m to 40m, and for my half 21k is 1h18 to 1h 22, this is all b4 year 2001. Hope to find my pace in coming year as i back in action in year 2005 until now.

Larian MPAJ - Race Report & Result

When : 13th August 2006 (Sunday)
Where : Padang Pandan Indah, Ampang - Selangor
Medals : 1st to 75th Placing nia!!

My most cinya tired race of this season!
I think due to too many consecutive race hor, make me so tired to pia leh. Today I off form lah, kenot pia like that day I pia in Hatyai Run. Sumore hor, yday I shopping wit wife walk-walk until leg so cinya tired loh. After 2.5km of running hor, suddenly my leg feel like jelly fish liao. After that hor, so struggle to carry on loh. Then sibo, after pass by der water station liao. My energy all start to come back liao, slowly I cut vegetables.

And then hor, there is one iritating runner. Cinya kau-kan chan, everytime I get near by to him hor. He will blast away from me wan, I think hor at least got 5 to 6 times like that lah. Until der 1.5km I really cinya beh tahan liao, I use 45 degree cut corner without he realise it. Then only I manage to escape from him leh, clever hor me? wakakaka!!

And then hor, wit last 1km to go hor. I sayur one of der 2 best veteran runners, Tee Teik Bee & Yap Chin Huat both oso cinya kuat-kuat wan. And I cross der TNS zig-zag finishing line at 44min 46sec (43rd placing), and then hor, oredi so exhausted liao. Sumore hv to queue up to register our name into der check list, hv to fill in der name lah, bib number lah & ic number. 1 person take 1 min, 10 person oredi 10mins.. cinya IDIOT wan!!!

Result, FYI der route has shorten to 10.5km instead of d original 11km.

Penang International Bridge Run 2006 - Race Report!

Long time never write such as long report, but any how.. hope u'll enjoy it lah!!

One of der most cinya cinya hapenning race in Penang

Lim peh kah lu kong hor....
By 1.30am gua oredi wake up liao, cinya kan cheong liao. Kenot sleep oredi, roll roll here n and roll roll there until 3.30am. Waulaueh time pass so slow wan, after that hor cinya excited liao. Wake everyone up and by 4.00am Gua der Pm1, Rachel Pm21, Ah Loong Pm24 & Elora Ong my niece start to leave from der house liao to meet up wit Justin Lee Pm19, Adam Loh aka CCB Pm29, Kevin Chow Pm32, Lim Pueh Tian, Ryan Pm17 & his Nephew. By 4.05am gua oredi reach Hotel Vistana for der meet up which is about kira-kira emmm... 500m nia.

By 4.20pm gua n der gang reach der parking area liao, lucky still got place to park loh. But cinya cilaka loh hv to pay RM3 to those Hak Seh Wooi gangster, else later car kena whack how? After settle everything, gua n der gang walk to der starting point which is der world most longest walk ever to starting point. After masuk kandang liao hor, oso can consider der world most biggest kandang ever lah, then quicky pia myself to der toilet. Fuyo.. lucky gua manage to find 1 public toilet which not many ppl know wan. After kautim, quickly pia to der starting gate liao. Ngam ngam ho, after der gate open. Gua quicky turbo kau-kau to get a good position at der starting line, which gua only stand in der 2nd row nia. Cinya sui position liao, can see der Sami Vellu ponya face cinya clear clear want, but gua oredi sweat like waterfall liao. Due to cinya humid from all type of alien n all der busuk busuk smell from their chow kik tiak (cinya smelly arm pit loh).

By 5.30pm Sami Vellu bring out his machine gun n brang kau-kau lat to everyone, gua oso cinya excited forgot how to slow down gua eh pace liao. Gua think gua ran 4.00 min/kmh for der 1st km loh, after reaching der bridge only gua start to slow down a bit nia, coz not so jam liao mah. After 2km of running, kanasai oh my god.. sakit perut. Feel like wan to pangsai, DEW!!! Gua pray to Ang Kong, Tee Kong, Hoot Chor Mah, Tua Peh Kong (all my God lah) pls dont make gua pangsai leh, coz there is no toilet at all during der whole journey leh. Cinya TULAN loh, must tahan der cilaka shit all der way to finish line. Gua didnt date to turbo after that, scare der shit might come out tiba-tiba mah. Gua eh mind keep thinking of other thing except der %^$#@##.

After der 1st water station gua eh bontot a bit ok liao, timing 24min 07sec. der feeling oso cinya der cool n fresh, coz der angin blow so hard until gua wanna fly away liao. But 1 thing cinya boring is they close up der divider loh, really potong gua ehh steam leh. Want to cheers runners oso kenot, cinya TNS!!

Gua reaching der 2nd water station 10km mark at 24min 19sec (gua eh total 10km is 48min 26sec). Waa, cinya slow leh der timing. Gua kenot tahan liao, from there on gua start to tambah minyak liao n start potong sayur 1 by 1. While after making der U-turn hor, gua spoted Justin Lee Nia Seng & Adam CCB they are juz der opposite nia. Ayoyo.. amama, making gua even kan cheong leh. Kiasu mah.. haha!! Before reaching to der middle bridge, spoted gua eh boh (my bini) she snap 1 memorable pic for gua. Fuyo, lucky timing ngam ngam correct but aiya sky still cinya very dark. DEW!!

Searching for der 3rd water station after gua eh timing has pass 25min liao liao, at 28min 33sec gua baru sampai der cilaka 3rd water station. Gua dont know why hor suddenly feel cinya thirsty leh, gua think body too dry liao due to der strong strong wind lah. After drink der whole cup, gua continue to potong sayur lah.

After another 2.5km liao hor, gua saw another water station. Cinya happy coz beh tahan liao, wollap another cup again. So thirsty leh, gua never felt like this before wan wor. Lucky water station is enuf loh, gua dont know about you all lah. Some say yes some say no, hmmm... wah chee lei sei lah... wakakaka!!

Wit der big signboard shown 2000m to Glugor, gua very confident liao. Actually from there hor, there is still approx 3.5km to finish line lah. Again gua saw 1000m to Glugor, gua lagi lagi hor confident coz gua still got plenty of minyak to tekan mah. After gua out of der bridge liao hor, gua saw Kelvin Ng Pm2 ngam ngam oso out of der bridge too. After gua say hi to him, gua look at gua eh timing oredi shown 1hr 30mins liao. Kanasai, Jialat jialat liao.. gua eh target is to finish sub 1'40 leh. Wit 1.5km to go gua shift to gua eh final gear, hoot kau-kau lat until gua corss der line beautifully, handsomely & powerfully at 1hour 39min 41sec and oso gua eh PR!!
