Welcome to der family Pacemakers #47 (Lim Kim Huat)

Firstly, I would like to thank Captain Ronnie See for the honour to be part of Pacemakers Malaysia community. I’m never expecting to receive this invitation.

I'm Lim Kim Huat, an ordinary runner.
I started running since 2014 after encouraged by Pao Chien. He was my ex-colleague. He always persued me to join him to run in Titiwangsa during weekend. From then, I start build my stamina and running skill when trained with him. Normally, we ran 2-3 loops in Titiwangsa lake about 5-7km in total.


Between 2015 to 2018, I was joined some running events such as New Year Run, Nike Run, 2XU Run, SCKLM Run and etc. Events from 5km, 7km, 10km, 12km til 21km. I never hit target sub 2 in running life from 2015 to 2018 when i joined running event. My 1st attempted to upgraded myself to FM runner was Nov 2018, when i joined Penang Bridge International Marathon.

Year 2019, i changed myself from inacactive to active runner. I started join running group for group training. I joined LGKL and Asics team for weekday group training. And I joined Wind Runners for weekend LSD training.

I feel happy to join Captain Ronnie See and team members in LGKL training every Wednesday. The group training (interval run/hill run/easy run) really improve me a lot from a slow runner become a fast runner.

Year 2019 also refer to my successful year. I achieved my dream, sub 2 in HM 21km for ALL events i joined and I abled to get sub 4 in 3 FM events.

Again I wish to express my appreciation to Captain Ronnie See. I abled to learn some technique in running from captain and LGKL team members.

I believe, with the hard work we put in the training, the improvement is there. I will keep it up! I will not stop running.
