Yuan Yufang sign up for Extreme Park!

from star-metro newspaper:-

IF running on the road does not appeal to you, check out the Cross-Country Fun Run at Extreme Park @ Sunway on Oct 3. The cross-country, jointly organised by Extreme Park @ Sunway and the Kelana Jaya MCA Service Centre, will take runners through rough trail, an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) course, muddy ground, bushes and gravel road. National walker Yuan Yufang has also been invited to take part in this event.

Kelana Jaya MP Loh Seng Kok told a press conference said this area was considered a green lung. “It is our hope that this event, the Cross Country Fun Run at Extreme Park @ Sunway, will provide an opportunity for residents of Subang Jaya and Sunway to appreciate this green lung,” Loh told reporters. Organising chairman Rocky Siow said they hoped to get about 1,000 people to take part in the cross-country.

The event has six categories - men's Open (aged 18 and above), women's Open (aged 18 and above), men's veteran (aged 40 and above), women's veteran (aged 35 and above), boys' Under-17 and girls' Under-17.
The winners of the boys' Under-17 and girls' Under-17 categories will receive RM200 each while the winners of the other categories will get RM300 each. Participants will also be treated to breakfast. Medals will be given to the first 25 finishers in each category. There will also be a lucky draw.

The entry fee for the boys' Under-17 and girls' Under-17 categories is RM5. The entry fee for the other categories is RM10. Entries close on Sept 30. Those interested in taking part in the run can contact Extreme Park at Sunway at 03-8027 0426.
