If i have a second chance to make decision whether to run 4 marathon in 4 weeks, it is something very very crazy for me, as my marathon level still as normal as others, so you will don't believe i will skip at least one marathon, cause it is too much pressure on my shoulder, even i have to force myself to do final push at final week, that is i did 3 days 20km from saturday to monday. wah will you believe? It is my real situation before depart to Bangkok, so tensionlah....!!
When will reach the old siam plaza, I was so lucky to meet my Taiwan running friends, and introduce to Jenny Lim and others. Offcourse I don't miss chance to take photo with them lah, one of them is already done 109 full marathon, he is Dale Huang, his wife finished 75 full marathon.
We are so careless, didn't realise that Phyllis luggage left without notice, so have to rush back to ask the hawker, so lucky, the owner of the shop contact his friend, so after get back we all rush for dinner, But we so appreciate Thailand peoples are so honest.
Jenny Lim are so worry about tomorrow performance, cause she is too tired after we are try to rush back from hotel to old siam plaza, she have no time to do massage, this really effect her performance lah, cause after the finishing line, she said to me that she is slow at last 3km.
Another surprise is our roommate Low, make noise during sleep, so Jenny also can't tolerence with it, so she wake up complain and ask Phyli is to kick Low, let him know. lucky later no more, after this two case, i still can sleep very good, but Jenny is total kena liao.
Aiya...forgot to tell my room number, guess....hahaha911.............!!!
When we reach the starting point, we still have about one hour, enough time to do bussiness and more important is toke group photo with Taipei runner group.
For the water station, first 30km will be every 2km per water station, and after 30km is every 1.5km per one water station. The sport drink is at 16km, 22km and 28km only, and we met the 10km runner at 27km. organiser also provide a toilet bus at 22km, the st john people also provide two cotton with crampoil, it is good for me to relief the pain feeling, espeicially I use every chance to collect the ice from water station, i use it on every one km, so my feeling was so dam good, but i don't cramp at this time, it is most important ,cause I want to trywhether I can finish without stop or walking, sure if Ican do it ,I will more chance to break 4 hrstarget, sure it is not far away from me...
My bangkok marathon journey is start from a first 28km highway, we return from 15km mark, the weather at this early morning is cool, i am feel thirsty at 4km mark, so i am so worry, but lucky this feeling no more after 20km. cause my body is warm enough liao. I control my pace to below 7 minutes per km, and also every water station take one cup of ice. it is use for my muscle over tire. nearly cramp, so ice is very importance for me as a normal runner.
After reach 30km, i forgot to take my power gel, i realise at 33km, so quickly toke out and eat, worry hungry will effect my last few km.
Tough it is boring at highway, cause no crowd to support you, or see you running at 6am, sunrise almost all came out liao. so sky is so beautifull, red colour and reach one one fly over like Penang bridge style, but i intend to toke photo, only the crowd is not allow me, cause at 27km mark, we met with 10km participant.
When i reach 28km, it should have isotonic drink, butcan't share with so many 10km runner. so i decide to take my own isotonic drink. Full marathon and 10km runner break at about 28.5km mark. so the real challenge just restart, cause now we felt that heat. but lucky for me, no problem lah. i toke out my camera out hang on my neck. toke photo at about 10 minutes. so continue the route, I am surprise so many ppl stand roadside, then after turn left, finishing is about 400 meters. i am so happy manage to achieve target within 5hrs. Hope to have good run and relax run at Singapore marathon.
