Can AmBank KL International Marathon 2005 copy the success of Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2004?

Dear Tuan Syed Anuar/ En Ruslan,

I participated in Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2004 www.singaporemarathon.com, that was held last Sunday 5/12/2004 and couldn't help noticing how successful the event was organized, and wondered whether the organisers of KLIM 2005, of which AmBank is title sponsor could do just as well.

Also, I had a chance to chat while walking to race venue with Mr Wan Ywe Leong (the President of Pacesetters Athletics Club Malaysia (PACM)) -of which I am a member, and he shared the same views.

For your kind information, PACM is the largest running club in the country and has the largest members base. Infact, the Club was formed after 1st KLIM in 1984, and has been promoting the race ever since. The Club is organising practice runs (including two 30 km practice runs) sometime in January and February 2005, to prepare runners for KLIM 2005.

Is there any way parties involved could help each other to ensure AmBank KLIM 2005's success, with AmBank achieving its objective in title sponsoring the event and the event reaches its target masses.

PACM has its own website at http://www.pacesetters.com.my/ and among friends we too have own website at http://pm1.blogspot.com/

Kind regards
