Hello everybody.
I am a colleague of Jamie and Newton. I started running early this year under the Dr's advise that I should exercise at least 4 times a week to improve my cholesterol levels. Sometime last year, I attempted to run 4km under the hot sun and suffered a nose bleed. I had no knowledge about running until another Dr came into the picture...
The Dr is none other than Jamie aka PM5. He coaxed me into running the 10km KLIM 2004 and succeeded. After several races, I became like him, coax others to run. In a way, we are like drug peddlers, peddling endorphins. Has anybody tried drinking coffee after a run?
Newton aka PM18 also happened to be my childhood schoolmate back in La Salle Sentul. He and Jamie have been influential in getting me moltivated in the various aspects of distance running. I may seem lanky but I lack stamina and definitely not a fast runner. I completed my first PJ Half-Marathon this year and look forward to repeat the feat in the forthcoming KLIM 2005.
