Batik Fun Walk 2005

A walk to promote a M'sian identity

The Batik Fun Walk is back. Held in conjunction with Malaysia Batik Week 2005, the walk on Dec 4 is part of Malaysia Batik - Crafted For the World movement. The three-year-old movement is the brainchild of the late Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood.

For a RM10 fee, participants get a sarong and a chance to win prizes in the walk or the lucky draw. They also get a mingle with Astro hosts and go though a warm-up session with Akademi Fantasia star Linda Jasmin.

The event begins at 7.30am at Berjaya Times Square and will go though Jalan Imbi, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Pudu.
