This run is right after the Pacesetters' Mizuno Wave Run, but is a non-competitive family event. Pacesetters can come and relax after the Wave Run and just hang out with people who believe that they can make some small difference in the fight against cancer. After all, if Terry Fox, with one leg lost to cancer could run a marathon a day for 143 consecutive days ...There will be some refreshments served. All proceeds from the sale of T-shirts (from all San Francisco Coffee outlets) will to to Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation ("CARIF"), a registered charity. CARIF has very highly qualified staff (including 4 PhDs and 8 Master degree holders) conducting research into cancers that are more common in Malaysia than anywhere else.
