Jason learn2climb at Gunung Tahan

Just want to share these 2 photos with the rest of the PMs. This is the toughest mountain I ever climbed in my climbing history.

On 20/2/2007 to 25/2/2007, I was trekking from Merapoh in Pahang to Kuala Tahan in Pahang passing Mt. Tahan (midway) in 100 km journey.

One of the photo was taken on 22/2/2007 with other climber when we were watching sunrise from the summit. Another photo with me holding the Jalur Gemilang was taken when we were about to descend from the summit to Kuala Tahan on 22/2/2007.

Overall, I discovered something in this Tahan trip. When your body is tired, do not give up easily. You must be mentally strong to continue the journey. As long as you don't give up, you can do it. With this kind of strong mental, I managed to reach Tahan summit at night on 21/2/2007 after 12.5 hrs hike (including resting time) from Kem Kor.

This is the same in our life. We must be patient and do not give up easily in whatever we do. One day, we'll be able to do it.

For those PMs who have the passion in climbing or have not climbed this mountain (the highest in Peninsular Malaysia 2,187 m), it is worth to go for it when you are still fit and able to do so.

I am in the midst of updating my new blog for climbing activities and writing my Tahan trip report. Will let you guys know once it is ready. Please publish this in your blog for everyone's viewing. In future, my blogspot will only be confined to running and other sports only.
