Where : Sunway Pyramid, Bandar Sunway
Acutal Distance : 19.60km (by Pm42 GPS)

Hello... Under Distance lah!
Cinya upset wit der route distance, coz it only cover 19.60km nia according to Choi aka Pm42 GPS kok, I mean der time clock. How could u call this a half marathon? Where is der remaining 1.4km ah? If like that everyone oso Personal Best liao.

Distance Marker!
So expensive meh to place distance marker every 1km? Der last 4km cinya unbelievable fast, 3mins plus I oredi finish 1km liao. Fuyo like elite runner liao! Oh yes no wonder I kenot find distance marker #14km, dont know who der sucker go n place it at opposite side. When coming back time I was shock, ahhhh another 14km to go? Which I oredi cover 13km liao!

Water Station!
Got money to serve 100plus, no money to serve mineral water. I was so fed-up, decided to skip der last water station, sumore so crowded wit 10k runners. That time oso cinya-cinya hot n humid liao!

DHL vs SHL
One of der most kan cheong (nervous) race for me in this year, someone from DHL wan to challenge me. So I take der offer, whoever won get 3 can of gatorade. Der 1st 10.5km I have a smooth sailing run, after der U-turn cinya kan cheong liao. Can see der DHL runner at opposite side liao, which is getting very close liao. If I'm not mistaken, I got 1 mins gap advantage from DHL. So I say to myself, as long as I maintain der pace, sure win win wan. Whenever I'm tired or slowing down, I always think of DHL!! So my motivation came back immediately, haha! So hor, to my bonus I manage to beat Sean Quah der Pm46 wit 200m to go nia. Both pia like cat n dog, eventually last 200m I manage to sayur 3 runners! FUYO!!

So DHL, where is my Gatorade?

I actually drove the route back yesterday using my car and it was 10.5KM on my odometer. That was just the coming back route. And my Polar detected 20.38KM this morning. I believe it should be give and take around 21KM.

I also very Tu Lan about the so called 'water' stations la... where there was no water at all!!! I drank half a cup and had to give up on the rest of the 100+ as the after taste really made me uncomfortable.

Aside from the chaotic bib/vest collection on Friday, the late starting time (luckily punctual), the water stations without water, etc., I enjoyed the run very much. It's quite a nice view from that height overseeing many parts of PJ and KL. It felt more like a sight-seeing run... hahaha...

I understand that the loss in toll revenue from closing the highway amounted to about RM 300,000, and the registration fee was not sufficent to cover the vest, medal, etc. I really appreciated the organisers for overcoming last years' issues and went ahead to have the run this year.

Hope they make this a yearly event.
