Walkathon @ SMK Putrajaya 1

SMK PUTRAJAYA 1 is organising a walkathon with the theme “warga ceria” tomorrow morning. About 1,200 students, teachers and parents are expected to walk the streets of Putrajaya. SMK Putrajaya 1 Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) chairman Datuk Seri Aseh Che Mat, who is also the secretary-general of the Home Ministry, said the walkathon would help to foster closer ties among parents and residents of Putrajaya. “The money collected from the event will be used for co-curriculum activities like providing free tuition and creating a school sports awards,” Aseh added. “The Star is the official media sponsor and also sponsors t-shirts, running numbers and banners.”
