Lousy material, vest design is like 1980's ponya style. der NB logo juz use der iron to paste on it wan.
Front and back oso got NB logo, imagine running for 42km. My nen nen going to bleed kau-kau lat for all der rubbing at my skin.
Vest size oso cinya like king kong size, I took size M, and is oredi like XL size. Chicken oso can go into my armpit.
Show my vest to Mr.Rainer (Race Director of SCKM) lucky he say I don't hv to wear it during der race day, but must tie der balloon. Thank goodness!

Oh ya, when I was running in copenhagen, pacesetters only need to run half the journey, at mid way point, another set of pacesetters will take over. If you have to run same pace the whole journey...chiak lat liao....
In addition, there were 3 pacesetters on first half, and another set of 3 pace setters will take over at mid way point. So in case 2 out of 3 got problem along the way, there will be enough back-up.
I hope you do have back-up in this manner ...
The vest look like the NB 15km 2010vest. Is it the left over stock and just put the new printing? As the size also very odd la, 'M' look like 'XL'?
I followed 2 pacers during SCSM 2009 (1 backup). They have at least 2 pacers for every 15minutes target pace (e.g. sub 4, sub 4.15, sub 4.30 etc)
Runners were requested to check in & wait at the respective target pace areas in the kandang e.g. sub 4 sub, 4.30 etc (signs were provided) and the respective pacers were waiting there.
NO BALLOONS were use even though SCSM had several times more marathon runners than SCKLM has.
When you run, the balloon will not stay upright in the sky. Thus, apart from creating unnecessary drag on the pacer, it serve no purpose in improving visibility since the balloon will remaim horizontal at the waist area of the pacer.
Sure the Rainier guy knows what he is doing?
I dont even bother to support this run this year due to deplorable organisation last year. Once bitten, twice shy.

LOL !! I saw Kelvin with red color vest. They are nice looking. Too bad with the material, size and other finishing.
