Hello, I'm Wong or kr1 from the DerKeenrunner running group. First of all, i would like to thanks Ronnie See @ Raja Tangga for inviting me to be members in Pacemakers Malaysia Family.
Way back in time, i remember my first run is BHP Orange run 2008 with bad timing, In beginning year of 2009, i had complete my first Half Marathon in Great Easten Run and also completed my virgin Full Marathon in Penang Bridge International Marathon in November 2009. In the same year, i got to know Ronnie See who is a Captain for the team of Pacemakers Malaysia. I had learned some running tips and running program from him like tempo run, LSD training.
So far, i had completed total of 12 marathons up-to date. In year of 2010 & 2011, i become a Standard Chartered pacer in 2 consecutive years, there are 4.30 hours pacer in SCKLM 2010 and 4 hours pacer in SCKLM 2011. Also completed POWERMAN MALAYSIA 2010 & 2011 in Individual Long Distance category.
For me, the reason of running - That Simple, just keeping Healthy Life. Sometimes running is a tool to release stress due to life was getting stressful.
In the future, i had set some target/ambition to achieve in my running life, there are:
- Full Marathon within 3.30 hours
- Ultra-marathon 100km (once in lifetime)
