Ayo! die lah, Starwalk fall on 12th dec 2004. Which mean Penang Round Island Relay could hv move forward to 26th dec, i guess so lah. It can't fall on 19th dec mah, bcoz oso another big event on that day too, KWYP City Run. So worst come to worst should be 26th dec lor, so how ah? Hv to replan everything again, TNS!...
Here are the Starwalk updates from Teoh Chun Ming...
Starwalk 2004, the biggest sporting event in the northern region, will be held on Dec 12. Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Haji Abdul Rahman Abbas will flag off participants from the Penang International Sports Arena (Pisa) in Relau.
Starwalk 2004, jointly organised by Star Publications (M) Bhd and the Penang Amateur Athletics Association ( PAAA), is also part of the Pesta Pulau Pinang celebrations. As usual, lots of prizes will be in store for participants. Entry forms will be published later this month.
Registration counters will be set up at the Star Northern Hub in Bayan Lepas and The Star's town office in Jalan Mesjid Kapitan Keling. The counters will be open daily, except Sundays, from 9.30am to 5.15pm.
