Happy Birthday htpp://pm1.blogspot.com

Happy Anniversary!!
Wow! I can't believe that pm1.blogspot.com is already 1 year old!! Time flies man!!! Many thanks to blogspot.com for giving me a free blog to post all my running information. N oso many thanks to Dr Jamie, Ryan Teoh, Woofy Woof, Ketam batu, Wendy from Ipoh, Datuk Yaziz & Ajeep der hamsap fella for their Technical IT support to der blog. N not 4getting Jantzen Tey n Chen Fong Fong, der chatbox operator. Without their help, i wont be able to carry on. I really appreciate it. "Kan En"!!!

My Rojak English...
If u've been following my blog from last year, i believe that u'll notice that there are many errors in my blog, especially der grammar. Very sorry ya, coz i'm not gut in writing, sumore my english is so poor. Dat's why sometimes i hv to mix wit bahasa n hokkian mee lor. Sometimes i hv to ask help from Dr. Jamie, Ryan Teoh or Datuk Yaziz to correct der words, if der report is a little complicated. Hopefully one day i can write a full report in good english on my own. Hmmm... i think i nid 6 yrs to achieve that?

Pm1 der IT programmer?....
Frankly speaking, i really dont know anything about IT or website programing. It all started when i visited PM39's blog last year. I encountered some problems when i wanted to post some comments on his blog. Only blogger members can access in, dat was how der whole thing started. Den i simply tekan here n there, mistake is where we find improvement.

Are pacemakers dat friendly?
I think i can confidently say YES!! But can they take a joke too? Dis is der most difficult part, how can we know dat? From my point of view, all der names i gave below is der answer...

1 - Thorsen Chen Fong Fong PM8
2 - Jantzen Tey Teng Teng PM22
3 - Ryan Teoh Mei Mei PM17
4 - Jason Lim Fah Fah PM23
5 - Joviet Sim Tung Tung PM25
6 - Ajeep Ham Sap Sap PM26
7 - Adam Loh Poh Poh PM29
8 - Kevin Chow Kei Kei PM32
9 - Shine Teh Ying Ying PM34
10 - Bose Tan Peng Peng PM39
11 - Ronnie See Ling Ling PM1

Dont take us for Granted
FYI, we're not FTAAA, SAAA or PAAA. Wat i dont like is, some ppl expect us to do things for them from A-Z, just because we're der_pacemakers. There's a limit on how much we can help, so pls understand. We dont get anything in return for all we've done, except lot of shiet from ppl complaining dis n dat. Some ppl do ask me, "wat is der benefit if i join der_pacemaker gang?" The same question posed to PACM. To be honest, I dont like dis kind of question. Pacemakers is not a club or organisation, we're juz a bunch of runners who share der same interest. Our only intention is to make more frens.

PJ Half Marathon 2005 - King of der Rain

Very der Suffering lah!!!!....
I oredi target dis as my favourite half marathon race, n i'm goin to push it kau2 kopi O lat2. Run wit all my heart out!!! Didnt realize dat der distance has increase, usualy it was 19.5km only. I started 15s late, due to my unfinish business.Sudenlly i hear der gun shot, quickly settle my business n poof over immedaitely.

Der distance marker really screw up my pace lah, after 2km my time was 6:12. Really shockin lah, n dat is where i potong sayur Adam Loh PM29. I chk my timing at every water station n sponging station. Eventually not all are acurate, from there on, i run wit my own feel. Damn suferring!!!

Sorry, i got no time to continue my report.... very buzy!! Zzzzzz....

For der rest of der report, pls refer @ ....

"The race was quite tough. Fighting with the weather condition. Quite humid n dry with no wind. Race started at 5.45am, me hit the wallat 16.1km. After that walk n run until the finishing."

Yeah! U're rite!!!
If Jason were running der Putrajaya, i think he sure pensan at der 1/2 mark liao. Lucky i didnt take dis race so seriously, coz i know its gonna be like hot barbique. I can see lotza runners burn to death, i mean over burn lah. Lucky der water station help alot, i never miss to drink. Powerbar oso provided at 1/2 mark, i think dis run almost semilar to KLIM. Distance marker were excellent, it help me to control my pace.

My 1st defeat to Chen Fong Fong!!!
I think almost a decade liao, i was unbeaten to Chen Fong Fong. But he deserve to get all der credit, he was running very consistanly even wit der hot n humid condition. I started very slow pace, but i finish it very strong. But still not too strong enuf to beat. I was trailing him 150m behind along der way, until der last 100m to go. I try to add petrol, but he finish me off very strongly. Kudos Fong Fong!

Makan Malam Perdana PAS Kawasan Pandan

Yupsss, you're right!!! This has got nothing to do with running. Still, Ronnie insisted me to write something about the dinner we attended last Saturday as an appreciation to his friend, Encik Nik Rasydi Nik Yusof, the Secretary of Pemuda PAS Kawasan Pandan.

Nik called Ronnie on Saturday morning, inviting him to the annual dinner of PAS Kawasan Pandan on Saturday night. Nik asked him to bring along 9 more people to the dinner. As it was another last minute invitaton, Ronnie only managed to find 5 people to join him - Rachel, Rachel's mom, Khoo, Khoo's gf and myself.

Mind you, contrary to our common perception, the PAS folks were damn so friendly!!! We were warmly greeted when we reached there. As Nik was no where to be seen when we got there, his friends led us to a table that had been reserved for us. We were told that each table costed RM400. Apparently, some rich PAS member must had bought the table but couldn't make it to the dinner. We're so lucky, yau hao fook!!!

I've attended Malay weddings, Raya open houses, etc before. But this was my first time attending a political party's annual dinner. As we were the non-Malay guests there, we were the centre of attraction. Cameras and video cameras were zoomed at us. We felt a little uneasy, but hey, the feeling was great!!! It was as if we were the VVIP there. The VVIP of the dinner was supposed to be the Mursyidul Am PAS (PAS Spiritual Leader), Dato' Nik Abd Aziz Nik Mat - the Menteri Besar of Kelantan Darul Naim. However, due to illness, he couldn't make it to the dinner. We wish him speedy recovery. Dato' Nik Abd Aziz was represented by Dato' Husam Musa, EXCO member of Kelantan State Government.

Before signing off, we would like to thank Nik again for inviting us to the dinner. It was an interesting experience for all 6 of us. We'll surely cherish the sweet memories we had there!!! See you around, Nik!!!!!

Gua Fever Kau-Kau Lat!
After having my ez run at klcc on friday, strait away kena cold n headache. Take 2 panadol n sleep until morning. Feeling ok abit, but body very weak n powerless.

Race Day only @ 85%!
Still not feeling very gut, lausai 3 times b4 der race. For dis run i got no target, juz wan to run n get medal will do. I was standing at der very back row, coz wanna start slow n ez. Dont wan to over pia n later lying along der road side.

der Flagoff!
After der gun shot, i was so surprise 2 c everyone ozo start very slow. I was looking forward to pace wit Adam, Ryan or Jantzen, but none of them was at my sight. Coz i oledi going very slow like kura-kura liao, never in my life going dat slow. I even follow Penguin 2 buntut for a certain distance, but still couldnt find my pacer.

Chen Fong Fong!!!
After 1k plus, so happy to c Chen Fong Fong. I think he ozo goin very slow pace, ask him to follow me. But he say he wanna die liao, ask me to go ahead. Damn! I hv 2 look for another pacer again.

Got Pacer liao!!!!
After 3k plus only i find my real pacer, I dont know his name but we hv a gut chat until finishing line. He is one of der Abdul Aziz gang, quite a fast runner too. He even told me he had a mountain climbing yday, so quite tired ozo.

Double Hill!!
Dis is der 1st time i'm racing using der double hill route, quite interesting too. Coz i c alot of runners like want to die liao, espeacially climbing up down up down on der hills. While me n dat malay fella keep slashing vegetables thru out der heart attack hill.

Finishing Line!!!
Wit 1k to go, i start to turbo liao. Potong at least 10 vegetables n cross der finishing happilly ever after. But after grab my finishing card, hv line up for der long queue to get der medal. Damn! never in my life taking such a long queue to get der medal, coz i was oredi huh hah! huh hah! huh hah! out of breath liao.
